Logan Research Station is Oklahoma State University’s newest research station. It
is a 320-acre ranch that was donated by Elizabeth Logan in 2022 as a replacement for
the previous Eastern Research Station in Haskell.
Research Focus
Current work at the station includes building a fence around the property and developing
a cattle-handling facility to prepare for future research at the site, such as cattle
grazing.
Other work happening to prepare this new station for research is pasture weed control
and fertilization to increase forage consistency across the property and preparing
smaller replicated pastures with internal fencing and water sources designed for specific
research interests.
